Medical Resident Photography
The images we create for medical residents for use in applications, LinkedIn, and other social media profiles are designed to present you in a strong positive light that reflects your energy, self-confidence, and professionalism.
We do this by trying a variety of approaches during your shoot, including shooting in extra outfits if you desire, and doing as many poses and variations as you like. You get coaching throughout the process on poses, expressions, and attitude. All at no extra charge.
Then, when you select the image you want to use, we provide full, custom retouching. By custom retouching, we mean that once you see your retouched proof, you can request changes. More of this, less of that, etc. Then you receive a revised proof. Once you’re happy with the revised proof, you’ll receive your final files.
The final files include a 2.5″x3.5″ image for your application, hi-res color and black-and-white (for print use), low-res color and black-and-white (for internet use), a square-cropped image for your LinkedIn and other social media profiles, and an image file for making self-service prints.
Proofs from the shoot are usually available shortly after the photo session. Retouching is usually completed the day it is ordered. The whole process is usually turned around in one day.
The fee for a shoot in our studio at 203 N. LaSalle St. in Downtown Chicago is $185. You may pay by cash, check, Chase QuickPay (Zelle at other banks), Venmo, and PayPal. Payment is due at the end of the photo session. Full, custom retouching for one image is included. Retouching of other images is $25 each.
